A newly built, three-story modern home nestled in Glacier Valley — your home for two nights in Girdwood. Depending on weather, we will go to the Riverfront Park or go to the Denali View. One of Alaska's premier spots for landscape photography — golden light spilling over the river with Denali looming in the distance. Bring your camera and don't put it down.

Steeped in frontier history since 1917, the iconic Talkeetna Roadhouse offers travelers a cozy, authentic slice of Alaskan heritage right in the heart of downtown Talkeetna. Above all, a roadhouse is defined by legendary comfort food, where you can wake up to a seasonal scratch bakery famous for its massive cinnamon rolls and hearty breakfasts made from a sourdough starter dating back to 1902.
A short walk before lunch with some of the best views in Anchorage — Resolution Park sits right on Cook Inlet with the Alaska Range stretching out across the water and the Captain Cook monument overlooking it all. A perfect way to get some fresh air and take it all in before sitting down to eat.

A private dinner party exclusively for the group at one of Girdwood's most beloved restaurants, tucked at the base of Mt. Alyeska. Jack Sprat is known for its seasonally inspired world cuisine, blending vegetarian and meat-forward dishes with local produce and foraged ingredients. The evening kicks off with a prosecco welcome and the room is yours for the night — a proper celebration after a big day in the mountains.
The go-to breakfast spot in Girdwood and conveniently located right at the base of the Alyeska Resort, so it's basically on the way to the tram. The group will head to Portage Lake to shoot midmorning, after our checkout and coffee stop, but this optional early morning photo shoot at the same location or Explorer Pond, is an additional option for the early risers. Leave the lake by 7:15, return to the BnB for check out, head to coffee, and continue the journey with the whole group to Portage Lake.

Tucked into a cozy, wood-paneled space in downtown Seward, the Gold Rush Bistro is a low-key neighborhood gem perfect for refueling after a day of coastal exploring. The seasonal eatery is highly celebrated for serving up some of the freshest Alaskan seafood in town, with standout favorites like their creamy clam chowder, rich Tuscan salmon, and award-winning halibut tacos. Guests can expect generous portions, a relaxed cabin-like atmosphere, and warm, attentive service that makes you feel right at home.

A cozy Seward staple known for their legendary cinnamon buns — fresh baked goods, great coffee, and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out on the water. This is a great place to stroll the waterfront and gift shops.
Spend six hours sailing deep into Kenai Fjords National Park, one of the most dramatic and wildlife-rich coastlines on earth. You'll cruise past tidewater glaciers calving into the sea, watch sea otters floating in the swells, and spot sea lions, humpback whales, puffins, and seabirds along the way. Lunch is served onboard so there's nothing to think about — just take it all in.
Between the tour ending around 6pm and dinner at 7pm, you can walk around town or drive in our Ford Transit High Top back to the lodge to freshen up before dinner.

The kind of dinner that feels like a proper Alaskan send-off — local king crab, handcrafted cocktails, and the whole group together after a big day on the water.

The Exit Glacier Trail in Kenai Fjords National Park is the park's only road-accessible area, located just 12 miles outside of Seward, Alaska. Enjoy free time photography hike (beginner-moderate) alongside the base of the glacier, with an optional longer hike (2hrs) to view the Harding Ice Field at the halfway point.
Wander the charming streets of Seward at your own pace — grab lunch wherever looks good, browse the local shops, and spend some time down at the small boat harbor watching harbor seals and sea otters hang out in the water below. A rare unscheduled stretch to just take it all in.
Before the final dinner, gather with the full group to share your favorite shots from the week. Daniel will walk through his edits and the stories behind his images, and you'll get to do the same. The perfect way to relive everything before one last night out together.

At Summit Lake Lodge’s "The Parlor", a roadside stop becomes a true slice of the Kenai Peninsula. Set on the north shore of Summit Lake in the Chugach National Forest, the lodge began as a roadhouse for the Seward Highway and still keeps its hand-cut timbers, slate fireplace, and deep sense of place. Inside the Parlor, rough-hewn local logs and a broad lake view frame a relaxed place for sandwiches or pizza, a cold drink, or something sweet to take along. It’s a warm, informal pause in the wilderness, where the water, mountains, and quiet feel close enough to touch.
Wander around this sprawling 200-acre wildlife sanctuary set against the dramatic backdrop of the Chugach Mountains, where you may encounter some of Alaska's most iconic animals — brown bears, moose, musk ox, bison, wolves, and more. One of the best places in the state to photograph wildlife without having to get lucky in the backcountry.
