Jaipur International Airport: Use the prepaid taxi desk or an Uber/Ola booked after you exit; this is the sensible option, since there is no useful direct metro into the old city. Allow roughly 25–45 minutes to Hawa Mahal/Badi Chaupar depending on traffic, and about ₹300–600 for a small cab. Ignore anyone offering an unmetered ‘tourist taxi’ inside the arrivals flow.
Jaipur Junction: The main rail arrival point, close to Sindhi Camp but not in the walled city. Take an Uber/Ola or negotiate an auto only after agreeing the full fare: roughly 15–25 minutes and ₹120–250 to Hawa Mahal/City Palace in normal traffic. The Pink Line is useful only for its Mansarovar–Badi Chaupar corridor; it is not a citywide solution for rail arrivals.
Gandhinagar Jaipur railway station: A few long-distance trains stop here, south of the centre. An app cab is simplest: allow 20–35 minutes to the Pink City and roughly ₹180–350. Do not confuse it with Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
Durgapura railway station: Useful chiefly if your particular train stops here; it is south of the centre and nearer the airport side than Jaipur Junction. Take an app cab or auto to the old city: about 25–40 minutes, roughly ₹220–400 depending on traffic.
Sindhi Camp bus stand: The practical arrival point for intercity buses, including Delhi services. It is near Jaipur Junction; use an app cab or auto for the short ride to the walled city—typically 15–25 minutes and ₹100–200. Delhi–Jaipur buses are workable, but the train is usually the less tiring choice when tickets are available.
