Denver International Airport: Take RTD’s A Line to Union Station: about 37 minutes and roughly $10 for the Airport Day Pass, which also covers RTD local transit that day. It is the sensible default; a rideshare may save little time once airport traffic and surge pricing are counted, and can cost $45–60 or far more in a surge.
Denver Union Station: Amtrak’s daily California Zephyr arrives here from Chicago and Emeryville/San Francisco Bay Area. Union Station is the useful arrival point: it connects directly to RTD A Line airport trains, light rail, commuter rail and the underground bus concourse. Build slack into any rail itinerary—the Zephyr is famously vulnerable to long-distance delays.
